The Seneca Knitting Mill played an important role in Seneca Falls’ industrial history and was home to generations of workers, including many women whose lives and experiences were shaped by the textile industry. The mill also serves as an important setting and inspiration for my historical novel, Women of Glass and Steel, set in Seneca Falls in 1916.
